I’ve always had a love for beautiful and unique things—especially when they’re vintage and spark a sentimental response. One memory that sticks with me is from my childhood: my father once gave me a porcelain heart-shaped music box that played “Love Me Tender” by Elvis Presley. It was one of the few tender moments we shared, and over time, I had forgotten all about it.

Decades later, I came across a similar music box—playing the same song—and in that moment, I was flooded with emotion. That simple, discarded item, once overlooked, became something cherished all over again. That’s the magic of vintage.

We all have objects like that—a toy, a candy dish, a china set, a pocket watch, a lamp—that can instantly transport us to a memory. Whether big or small, these pieces hold a kind of quiet power. If I can help someone reconnect with a piece of their past and give new life to an item that might have otherwise been lost, then that’s exactly what I hope to do.

I also have a strong dislike for seeing perfectly good items—especially vintage ones—end up in landfills. It's not sustainable, and it’s such a waste of history, craftsmanship, and potential sentiment.

Unburied Cherries is dedicated to breathing new life into exceptional vintage and collectible treasures. My goal is to inspire a sense of discovery, appreciation, and conscious living by helping these items find new homes and renewed purpose.
