Antique Bryce Higbee Fine Cut & Fan EAPG Oval Serving Bowl • Circa 1901
This beautiful antique pressed glass bowl is attributed to Bryce, Higbee & Co. and features the highly detailed Fine Cut & Fan pattern, dating to approximately 1901.
Designed during the Early American Pattern Glass era, the bowl is richly decorated with radiating fan motifs, geometric stars, finely textured diamond panels, and deeply molded details that give the appearance and sparkle of cut glass.
The oval form is finished with a graceful scalloped rim, creating a piece that is ornate without feeling overly heavy. Light catches every surface, giving the glass wonderful brilliance from nearly every angle.
Under UV / black light, the clear glass displays a noticeable yellow-green fluorescence, consistent with manganese-bearing antique glass. The UV reaction has been photographed and is shown in the listing.
