Vintage National Glass Clear Pressed Glass Lidded Candy Dish

A beautiful little piece of vintage glass with plenty of sparkle and texture.

This square covered candy dish is crafted from heavy clear pressed glass and features deeply ribbed sides, scalloped detailing around the edges, and a geometric floral motif worked into the center. The matching lid repeats the ribbed design and is finished with a decorative glass finial.

The combination of the square silhouette and sweeping ribbed pattern gives it a wonderfully dimensional look, catching and reflecting light from nearly every angle.

Believed to have been produced by National Glass during the 1980s, this versatile piece works beautifully as a traditional candy dish or as a decorative container for jewelry, trinkets, potpourri, wrapped treats, or vanity essentials. An exact matching example has been documented at approximately 6⅜ inches square.
