This beautiful vintage pressed glass creamer was produced by Riihimäen Lasi of Finland in the classic “Riihimäki” pattern, one of the glassworks’ longest-running early designs.
The ornate pattern features a geometric block band around the upper body, graceful arched panels, fan-like detailing, a sculpted pedestal foot, and a dramatic curved pouring spout. The warm honey-amber glass deepens to a rich brown tone in the heavier portions of the design, allowing the pressed details to catch the light beautifully.
The Riihimäki pattern dates back to the early 20th century and remained in production for decades. This particular creamer features the older radiating sunburst design beneath the foot, a detail associated with earlier production examples.
